Licensed & Insured

Every contractor in California is required to carry a license. Not all of them do. The difference, if something goes wrong, is enormous. ARM is a fully licensed Class B General Building Contractor (CSLB Lic. #915352) and fully insured — which means if there’s an injury on your job site, you’re not liable. If work doesn’t meet code, we’re accountable. An unlicensed contractor leaves all of that risk sitting with you.

Aaron Weiss is a trained civil engineer specializing in construction management. Every project is reviewed for structural integrity and full code compliance — not just for how it looks when it’s done. That same expertise covers permitting: we manage plans, city submissions, approvals, inspections, and final sign-off. You don’t have to learn how LA’s permitting system works. That’s our job.

Aaron founded ARM Builders in 2007 with a belief that a construction company should be as invested in your home as you are. But he's not just a builder. He's a husband and father of three, who understands what it means to build a house that will be your family’s home for years to come.

As an Ironman Triathlete, Aaron knows what means to have the dedication and commitment to finish a project right no matter what. And as a civil engineer specializing in construction management, he personally oversees the structural integrity and code compliance of every project — not as a formality, but because he genuinely cares about doing it right.

Over two decades, ARM has grown almost entirely through referrals from Los Angeles homeowners who trusted us enough to tell their friends and neighbors. Aaron and the team are local — this is the community where they live and raise their own families.
